Water parks can be found in most Spanish holiday destinations – think the Spanish mainland and popular Islands like Tenerife, Mallorca and Lanzarote. We’ve put together a handy guide to the very best waterparks found in Spain. So grab your swimsuit – it’s time to dive in!

Costa del Sol, Torremolinos:

 The Costa del Sol remains one of Spain’s most popular holiday destinations. With sunshine, stunning beaches, and plenty of water parks, it’s easy to see why Torremolinos stands at the heart of Costa del Sol’s holidays.

Costa del Sol Aqualand

A trip to Costa del Sol isn’t complete without paying a visit to Aqualand Torremolinos – the biggest (and best) waterpark in the Costa del Sol. Aqualand Torremolinos boasts 19 adults-only slides, ideal for those looking for some fun in the sun away from little ones. That’s not to say the park isn’t child friendly, though – it boasts over 15 brilliant slides that suit children of all ages!

Whatever you’re looking for in a water park, Aqualand Torremolinos will have it. Looking for some adrenaline-fuelled rides? Tick. Or perhaps something more relaxed, like calm, floating rides and Jacuzzis? As you may have guessed, you’ll find it here. The best bit? Aqualand Torremolinos is within walking distance of our Gran Cervantes Blue Sea resort, so you can pop back and forth as much as you (and the kids) fancy.

Costa Water Park

Costa Water Park sits just over half an hour’s drive from our Gran Cervantes Blue Sea resort. This charming and friendly water park is smaller than Aqualand, but that also means it’s a little easier on the wallet!

Costa Water Park isn’t your average water park, though. Rather than a traditional adventure park built inland, Costa Water Park makes full use of the Costa del Sol’s best asset: it’s stunning coast. Costa Water Park floats out to sea just off the coast of Benalmadena – think Total Wipeout meets adventure playground.

Visitors are issued life jackets and then let loose on the many floating slides, trampolines, and floating obstacles all under the supervision of trained lifeguards. Children are welcome, but a level of swimming ability is required – smaller kids can enjoy safer pools and slides located on the shore.

 

Mallorca

The undisputed Queen of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca, is the Spanish holiday destination. With stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife, and friendly holiday atmosphere, you can see why, but Mallorca also boasts a little secret – it’s home to some of Spain’s best water parks.

Hidropark

 If you’ve decided to call the North of Mallorca your temporary holiday home, make sure you spend a day at Hidropark. With a fantastic range of water slides, an incredible BBQ restaurant, and even mini golf on-site, Hidropark is a fantastic way to spend a day with the family. It’s a kid’s dream.

 Aqualand El Arenal

One of the best parks in Mallorca is Aqualand El Arenal. Located on the edge of the buzzing El Arenal resort, the park is no more than 15 minutes’ walk from our Blue Sea Costa Verde and Blue Sea Arenal Tower resorts. Aqualand El Arenal is a one-stop shop of thrilling rides, family fun and secluded chill-out pools. It’s the place to be in southern Mallorca.

Tenerife

From Queen of the Balearics to Queen of the Canary Islands, welcome to Tenerife. Eternal sunshine, fantastic scenery, beautiful beaches, and phenomenal waterparks make Tenerife an incredible holiday destination.

Siam Park

Voted the best waterpark in the world 5 years in a row, Siam Park sits on the south coast of Tenerife. This Thai style waterpark is no waterpark: with everything from fantastic rides and slides to its own spectacular man-made beach and wave pool, it’s more like a water kingdom.

There are multiple water worlds for kids to explore, all of which include adrenaline-fuelled rides and slides. Those looking to relax and unwind can float down the Mai Thai river, lounge on the tropical cabanas, and browse the floating market. Siam Park is no more than an hour and a half drive from all of Tenerife’s Blue Sea hotels, and is 100% worth the drive. You’ll thank us later!

Aqualand Costa Adeje

The Aqualand water park in Tenerife is particularly special. Not only does Aqualand Costa Adeje have the usual array of spa-like water experiences, fabulous children’s pools and exhilarating slides and rides, the park also has a one-of-a-kind spectacular dolphin show included in the entrance fee.

Situated in the upmarket resort of Costa Adeje, the waterpark is just a 15-minute drive from Blue Sea Callao Garden, and only an hour’s drive from Blue Sea Lagos de César in beautiful Puerto de Santiago, making it easily accessible from either of our south coast hotels.

Lanzarote

Lanzarote’s volcanic landscape makes it a truly unique holiday destination. As one of the most popular Spanish islands, it’s no surprise that this Canary Island has some fantastic water parks.

Aqualava

Take Aqualava, a unique waterpark located in Playa Blanca on the southern tip of Lanzarote. With slides to suit adults and children alike, fabulous thermal pools and a relaxing lazy river, the park has something to please every member of the family. But what really sets this park apart is its volcanic design. Paying tribute to the unique Lanzarote landscape, Aqualava pays homage to the island’s volcanic landscape and heats the water using geothermal energy.

The park is just a half hour’s drive from our Blue Sea Los Fiscos resort in popular Puerto del Carmen, and provides its own bus service from both Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Aqualand Costa Teguise

Aqualand Costa Teguise goes beyond fun on the water by providing a cinema, paintball, and soft-dry slides for those who want some time to dry off. But with such a huge array of water slides, rapid rides, and water race tracks, you may never choose to return to dry land again!

The park is within walking distance of our Blue Sea Costa Teguise Gardens and Blue Sea Costa Bastian resorts, with regular bus runs between the park and Puerto del Carmen.
