Puerto de la Cruz was a small fishing village known back then as Puerto de la Orotava in the north of the island of Tenerife. It soon became a commercial port and during the sixties began to transform as the tourism industry was incorporated.
Although it is the smallest municipality in Tenerife, it contains attractions such as its protected historic center or a wide seafront, perfect for long and peaceful walks.
